BMI = Weight (kg) ÷ Height² (m²)

Limitations of BMI

  • • Does not differentiate between muscle and fat mass
  • • May not be accurate for athletes with high muscle mass
  • • Not suitable for pregnant women, children, or elderly
  • • Does not account for body fat distribution
